Well, I have a iPod Video 30gb, and I want to put some anime I own on it. [Evangelion Platnium DVD Box]
However, I do not have lots of space on it.
I am currently using WinAVI's MP4 converter, because its simple.
What would be the best settings to have mid to high quality video at the smallest size for that level of quality?

Did that. Slider, when dragged to 100% gets me 137gb.

Data Lifeguard Tools still only formats it up to 137gb.

I have FDISK on a CD.
The problem is, after I FDISK it so its the correct size, all partition managers see the partition as BAD or damaged.
This prevents be from working with the hard drive, may it be resizing, copying, or creating an image.

If I FDISK the drive, then it is the full 200gb, and can be made into 186gb partitions.
However, Partiton Magic and Arconis Disk Director Suite both see it as a 128gb drive, so when I open it after FDISKed, it is flagged BAD. Partition Magic gives me "partiton table error #108" even when the hard drive is fully functional.
Motherboard sees it as 200gb.
WDC Hard Drive.

SP2 installed already.

A few things.
This is a secondary hard drive, so no Windows.
Also, I used Arconis Disk Director Suite to format it.
Problem though, I have 48-bit LBA enabled, yet the 200gb hard drive will not partition higher than 128gb.
Any ideas?

I'm looking for a way to completely erase my hard drive, as close as it can to factory settings.
Reason being is that, I've been having problems with it, corruption and constant 99% fragmentation...
So, I want to erase and destroy everything on it, elminating any chance that the old crap will come back and screw things up.
Also, more importantly, I have Grub Boot Loader installed to this hard drive's MBR.
This was done by accident. I want to get rid of it, but standard run < cmd < format d: doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I am wondering, if anyone can direct to a tutorial for vectoring (vector trace?) in PS with shapes. I did a vector recently, but with paths, and the result was file. However, the edges were rounded as paths were and lacked the clean crisp feeling. If anyone were to help me with my query, it would be greatly appreciated.

Okay...
A few things.
The disc drives DO NOT EXIST within the confines of Windows.
No detection, no listing as hardware,
Nothing in Device Manager,
No drivers loaded for CD/DVD drives,
Nothing.

Also, I highly doubt I messed up the cables.
This exact setup, has been used for 2 years and not ONCE has the case been opened.

Just for reference, I have my Disc Drives connected thru IDE cables to the mobo.
The Hard Drives are connected by IDE cables to a PCI ATA card.

In the end, I really needed to use my computer as I had work, so a reinstalled Windows AGAIN and this time, all my previous user data was erased.

However, there are some interesting problems.

Some, but not all, folders in my old application data folders are now saying "Access Denied". This is not a blanket effect, but only 20% of random folders in Application Data.

Also, my computer upon startup now shoots me the message "C:/WiINDOWS/system32/Tools/Delfolders.exe cannot be found. Check your spelling" ect... ect...

What is delfolders? I searched for it but all I got were blank entries.

(Last note, CPU is "Intel P4 630, Intel P4 630 Tray 775, Pentium 4 3.0GHz@800FSB, 2MB Cache". Directly from the label)

I recently ( 10 minutes ago) upgraded my CPU and motherboard.
I went from a 1.6gz AMD Duron to a 3.0ghz Pentium 4.
Now a few changes were with this, My nVidia GeForuce 4 MMX440 128mb video card was incompatible, so I was forced to use the onbard video card, ATI Radeon Xpress 200.
i spent a few hours trying to boot windows with no avail, due to DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD errors.

Now, I finally reinstalled Windows.
First however, I tred the Reapir function.
Didn't work, BSOD.

So, then I reninstalled windows, same drive, overwrite directory.
So, after 40 or so minutes, it finishes.
Odd thing.
It retains my Regional Settings.
It retains my accounts.
It even keeps my setting for Bblean as the shell.

So, I'm thinking... "Cool, but wtf?"

I talk to my friends a bit, then go to install the drivers on the motherboard driver disc.

Then....
I notice...

My three disc drives are gone.
(CD/DVD, HDD is fine)
My:
1- 48x CD/RW Burner
2- 8x DVD/RW Burner
3- 52x CD/RW Burner
All of them are gone.

So, I restart my computer. Sure enough, The drives are showing up on the BIOS check for IDE devices, but as soon as I get into Windows, the drives are gone again.

Anyone know what is wrong? This has happened to me once before, but that computer is long gone.
